Welcome to the website of the Research and Innovation Management Centre (RMIC), UMK. I am grateful to Allah SWT for His bounty which has made the development of this RMIC website possible with the aim of becoming one of the information and reference centres in matters related to the management and implementation of research activities for UMK staff and students.
The Research and Innovation Management Centre (RMIC) is one of the entities under the Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research and Innovation) whose role is to manage, coordinate and mobilise research activities to increase productivity in producing quality research findings and outputs based on industry and community needs, in line with the Malaysian Education Development Plan 2015-2025 (Higher Education) by the Ministry of Higher Education.
RMIC also collaborates with the public and private sectors, especially in securing funding from external parties to support the university's research activities. In line with UMK's mission to provide quality and relevant academic and training programmes, research and innovation with high commercial value, effective and efficient services and prioritising a conducive environment and fulfilling social responsibility. Finally, I hope that we can all make the most of this website, and any suggestions and constructive ideas for service improvements are very welcome.
