INTRODUCTION
The Research Management and Innovation Centre (RMIC) at Universiti Malaysia Kelantan (UMK) serves as the main centre for managing all information and activities related to research innovation and publication, in support of UMK academics.
RMIC is one of the entities under the Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research and Innovation), playing a vital role in managing, coordinating, mobilizing, and strengthening efforts in Research, Development, Commercialization, and Entrepreneurship (R&D&C&E). These efforts aim to increase research productivity and to produce new discoveries and high-quality research outputs. In addition, RMIC also focuses on enhancing R&D&C&E collaborations with both public and private sectors, particularly in securing external research grants and establishing strategic research partnerships with industries.
Currently, RMIC is led by Prof. Ir. Ts. Dr. Julie Juliewatty Binti Mohamed as the Senior Director. RMIC comprises three main divisions:
Research Management Division (RMD),
Innovation and Commercialization Division (ICD), and
Publication and Rating Division (PRD).
Each division is headed by a Director:
